Mingei: Are You Here? at Pace London, 6-10 Lexington Street

Pace London currently presents a delicate and museum-quality exhibition at its Soho space, located at 6-10 Lexington Street. This is the gallery's first group exhibition exploring the legacy of Mingei, a Japanese folk craft movement led by philosopher and critic Sōetsu Yanagi and featuring  paintings, sculptures, ceramics, and textile works by Charlotte Perriand, Isamu Noguchi, Hiroshi Sugimoto, Danh Vo, Simon Fujiwara and many more renowned artists, designers and architects.

Hans Ulrich Obrist, co-Director of Exhibitions and Programmes and Director of International Projects of the Serpentine Gallery said: "Mingei : Are You Here? Is a fantastic and super inspiring show. Nicolas Trembley [the curator of the exhibition] has conceived a model of how we can invent the future with fragments from the past."

It can't get any better than that...
